God's Good News

The very essence of the Gospel, revealed for our time: God's eternal purpose, His mercy for the present age, and His perfect plan of salvation through Christ.

What this page is about

The heart of the Christian message, in plain words.

About this page

This page presents the heart of the Gospel: God's free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. As Scripture declares, “faith cometh by hearing... by the word of God” (Romans 10:17 KJV)—the good news that Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again.

To explore further, we walk through seven truths in three stages:

  • The Message: God's revelation for today.
  • The Cross: Christ's finished work and sacrifice.
  • The New Life: Our eternal security by believing.

Each section features a hook question, a plain-words summary, and a key verse to guide your study.

Why you should read it

Because this is the most important message on our entire platform, with significance reaching far beyond this life and into eternity. It does not ask you to earn God's favor, argue your way into belief, or master everything at once. Instead, it clearly declares what has already been accomplished for you—in plain words and with zero pressure.

If you are new, begin with the Gospel in brief. If you already believe, dive straight into the seven truths to anchor your certainty, deepen your conviction, and equip you to share this hope with others. Either way, the journey concludes with three simple ways to respond: I believe, I have a question, or I'm still exploring.

The Gospel in Brief

God's offer of salvation through Jesus Christ is the most important message on this page. Its significance reaches beyond this life and into eternity.

Christ died for our sinsHe took our place and paid the penalty.
He was buriedHis death was real and complete.
He rose againDeath could not hold Him.
"Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel... how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures."1 Corinthians 15:1-4 (KJV)
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast."Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV)

Salvation is a free gift. It is received by believing, trusting Christ alone with your heart.
